• Hello! We just set-up this tv two days ago. There are two positions for the legs. We choose the inner ones to provide the best fit on our existing stand. The precise measurement from the outermost edge of where the legs fall if placed on this inner position is 47.5 "

• An Amazon forum noted that the 65" MU8000 has 2 leg mounting width options (one gives 54" an the other gives 41" tip-to-tip). So, it makes sense that the 75" 8000 could have a 47" tip-to-tip leg width.
