be sure to open the box and test tv while within the return time for Best Buy. About 5-10% of these big TVs are bad out of the box. I got 6 and this 75" had a gray area about the size of a basket ball on the screen and the entire screen looked like you were looking at it though a window screen. They gave me a new TV.
A:Answer1st) get the right bracket for it's size and weight. If your old bracket is for it's size and weight, then that's good.
2) wait until you get the wall mount tape that is included in the box of the tv.
Sorry, I did not measure it myself.
A:AnswerI contacted Samsung customer service with a problem of my tv turning itself on while I was at work. They told me to plug the tv directly into a wall outlet, since the tv has a built in surge control.
A:AnswerThe wall mount attaches directly to the back of the TV. So the space from the wall is dependent upon the type and "thickness" of wall mount you buy.
A:AnswerWhen the legs are installed on the TV, they are 47.5 inches apart. The actual width of the TV is 66 inches. Anything shorter than that and your TV will hang over the edges. That’s just an aesthetic you have to decide on.
A:AnswerOn the stand, the TV frame itself is 2 3/4 inches off the surface of the table it is standing on. I have the Samsung 3.1 sound bar and it does not obstruct the picture in any way.
