“Does the volume balance or equalize? For example we currently have a TLC tv and the volume is all over the place. Our older Sony which we had before the volume would stay at a more standard level. Also does the OS avoid being obnoxious or invasive.”

Hi Mel, The U8000F offers the Auto Volume feature, which helps to maintain consistent levels. To enable: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume. ~Samsung Advisor
