• Prem - On the 77" S90D, the distance from the top VESA mounting holes to the top of the TV is 24". The distance from the bottom holes to the bottom of the TV is 3.1". ~ Samsung Specialist

• Your math does not add up. VESA is 400mm x 300mm meaning Vertical distance is 11.81 inches. 24.00 inches + 11.81 inches + 3.1 inches = 38.91 inches. Yet the tv height is listed as 38.6 inches without the stand.
