The way Samsung creates their model numbers is very cool. For this model: U = TV is LED. N = Made for North America. 78 = size of TV. K = OLED technology. KS together refers to the model year 2016 and that the TV has SUHD ( KU would mean it is only UHD). 9500 = series of TV (Samsung's "9" series is the best you can get). The rest is just manufacturing information. I googled this from Samsung's website. The biggest difference you may find at this level of television is the "S" for SUHD. If you want SUHD, avoid model numbers with "KU".
