“how do i get sound it says reciever hdmi when i tried to turn the volume up”

I have a Denon Dolby Atmos receiver with 9 speakers and two 25" subwoofer's...one of the tvs hdmi outputs is the receiver and if you use that output you get receiver hdmi indication. If you are just using the tv speakers, you have to use the second hdmi output

Interesting. Change out to a new HDMI to the source. I have a surround sound system with the optical option and sound both on TV and system
