Can it be used in a laptop? null

I had no problems replacing the older (and slower) HDD and installing this SSD on my Dell Inspiron. I used Samsung data migration software with a USB to SATA cord to transfer everything from my old hard drive to the SDD. The Samsung data migration software is free and is easy to use.

Yes, I’m using it in a late 2011 MacBook Pro. Works very well. You should be able to check compatibility through the Samsung website.

I installed this in my HP laptop in place of the DVD drive.You will need to buy an mounting kit for it that Best buy doesn't sell but I found one for less than $10.00 on ebay.

It's the right size if you have a 2.5 inch opening. I have it in a desktop computer and have to attach it to a bracket to fit my 3.5 inch slot in the case.
