Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Is this a trick question? I feel like you’re gaslighting me.. ideally you would want the PS4 “operating drive” to be an SSD - it is not by default. However, opening up your PS4 and replacing the stock drive with an SSD will yield minimal returns (and is a headache). Using an SSD as external storage for PS4 is overkill. I would still buy this drive to replace in some other hardware you may own, such as a laptop or a desktop computer and then use ~*that*~ drive from the other hardware for PS4 external storage. USB SSD enclosures rule. Hope this helps!
