• I'm not sure what you mean by 2.0. It is a 2.5" SATA drive that is used in both laptops and desktops that have mounting positions for a 2.5" drive.

• I’m not sure what you’re asking. I can tell you that I installed it in a Dell Inspiron 3668 desktop running Windows 10. I cloned the original drive with Samsung Wizard software (free). I used a USB setup, enclosure and cable for the cloning. Swapped drives and all was good. Huge improvement over HDD. I hope this helps.
