The package contains only the SSD, no mounting bracket. Nothing special is needed other than a SATA connector. This is an internal SATA Solid State Drive 2.5 inches for a laptop. Only the drive is in the box. No wires, nothing else.

This drive does not come with a mounting bracket. You should be able to use the mounting bracket from your existing hard drive as long as it is a 2.5" form factor drive. This drive is a SATA drive, so if your existing dive is also a SATA drive it should just plug right in.

It does not come with a mounting bracket so you will need to provide one. Also, if you do not have a method to clone your existing drive to the EVO 870, you will need to download Samsung's migration software and you will need a cable with USB on one end and connector to plug in the EVO 870 on the order end. I have seen some technicians use spare SATA and power cables inside the PC but this could be dangerous if you are not used to working on the computer with covers off.
