It uses Sata connector and your HP should have many Sata connectors. It does not come with sata cable and screws. Your HP system may have M2 slot. Maybe you should look into that. It offers much fast data transfer speed, than sata SSD.

Your motherboard has numerous SATA port so all you need to do is open it up, hook the new SSD to an open SATA port, start up your PC and download Samsung Data Migration. It's free and will perfectly clone your old HDD to your new SSD. When the cloning process ends it will shut down your PC. While it's shut down you just disconnect your old Hard Drive from it's SATA port and either leave it in there or remove it. Then turn your PC on and it will be running on your new Samsung SSD. The speed difference will blow your mind.
