Not as internal storage, no. Based on the info so far, this is good for external storage and running PS4 games on a PS5. If you're using the Xbox Series X/S, you can run Xbox One games from here and below just fine but you can only store Xbox Series X/S games here, not run them directly from here. Still need a SATA to USB3 adapter as this is meant for internal storage initially on a PC.

If you getting an Xbox must get their proprietary SSD that cost around 229 dollars for 1TB, for the ps5 I highly recommend you to wait until sony put out the list of compatible SSD's so far they say NVME 4.0 but the thing must match their ssd
