DavidG: Yes, the 870 QVO is compatible. Specs indicate the Dell Alienware Aurora R15 supports SATA drives. Magician will work with either RAID or AHCI configuration. The best way to enable AHCI is to go to BIOS and enable AHCI mode, and then install the operating system. Boot the system, enter BIOS setup, and change SATA settings from IDE to AHCI. - Install the operating system. If you choose to set up a RAID configuration, choose the option best-suited to their particular usage scenario.
