If I have read the manual correctly, there is one slot for the M2 and a mini slot for WIFI and Bluetooth. The M2 slot is also used as an Optane memory and storage. Before using this M2 slot, Optane must be disabled though Bios if not being used. The new drive must be formatted and partitioned prior to use. If this computer will be used for gaming, I would recommend a WD - WD_BLACK Gaming 4TB Internal SATA Hard Drive for Desktops Model: WDBSLA0040HNC-NRSN SKU: 9315347 from BestBuy. It is a 7200 rpm model and is very fast and will allow a lot of room for games and misc storage.
