• Yes, but the 980 pro is a PCIE 4.0 drive. The model you listed most likely has a 3.0 PCIE so a samsung 970 is probably better for the price. That model also only has 1 m.2 slot so you would have to remove your existing drive and replace it with this one.

• No, the 5000 series chips from AMD are for desktop motherboards. A laptop would use the 4000 series AMD chips, such as the model you posted.
