• It will play region A blu ray movies, or region-free or all-regions disk. I have and all regions disc (Blu-ray) from England and it played fine.

• If the disk is region free or "all regions", any Blu-ray player will play it. I have an all regions Blu-ray disc (shipped from England), and it plays fine.
