“Our microwave was installed by Best Buy. It should be vented to the outside. When we run the microwave— even for short 2 minutes periods, condensation builds up on the bottom and top of the door. Is this normal?”

Yes, to a degree. Even if it was properly vented some air is still vented via the vents above the door, so some condensation is normal.
