We have all black appliances. We think the matte black works really well! It’s beautiful!! But I would NOT recommend for kids. Unless fingerprints don’t bother you. I just keep a micro fiber cloth nearby to clean any prints that happen as it’s just my hubby and I. It’s just so pretty and clean that I’m willing to sacrifice. The black stainless steel (fingerprint resistant) was not an option as it’s quite gray and not really black. Even though the pic looks dark gray it’s more black and blends really well with the rest of the appliances.
