    • Answer No. Convection with Air Fry option. Induction requires a metal pan on the cooktop (basically, almost any one you can stick a magnet to) to induce a current in the pan itself to heat it up.. The oven just has wire racks and heating coils, etc.

    • Answer The oven works just like a regular oven, the induction is for the surface and yes special cookware is needed. If a magnet sticks to the bottom of your pan or pot, then it will work if it does not then it will not.
