• This has no TV receiver. If you have a cable box, you can connect this monitor using HDMI cable and this works very well. I have been using it this way for a few months. You will need an external speaker that plugs into the monitor as it does not have built in speakers. You also have to turn the monitor on/off manually, no remote control. It does have power save mode, but I have not tested that. Good luck.

• Yes it can be. You can use the HDMI connection and connect your cable/satellite box.

• It's meant to be a monitor but you could watch tv with hdmi I'd imagine .
