• Absolutely. I was originally going to buy 2 monitors but wound up buying this. I do not regret it. It is wide enough where you can view 2 windows simultaneously.

• it's hit or miss... if you want to view 2 windows simultaneously with no adjustments the preferred method is 2 or more screens or buy a widescreen monitor.

• Yes it is perfect for that! I was using a 27" Mac desktop before switching to a surface pro with a docking station. This monitor handles multiple windows perfectly!
