• If your Desktop has an HDMI port or DP (DisplayPort) port, this will work just fine :)

• I would assume so. When we spoke with the Best Buy associate he indicated it was a universal monitor. We were concerned that we might need an Apple specific/compatible monitor but he stated it would work with any computer. I would assume that to be desktops also.
