“Switching from Gas to Electirc I read a review whose writer was unable to get information about the electrical outlet needed for this range. Is it safe to ask a licensed electrician install a 220 amp outlet for an electric range? Do I need any more information that that? Thanks”

Hi SandraLee48, The NE58H9970WS and other Samsung Electric Ranges are rated for 240V/60Hz and 40 amps. The Range doesn't come with a power cord since your home's wiring and local building codes will determine the type of cord you'll need (3 or 4-prong), so I would suggest consulting with your electrician about what type of cord to purchase.
