Yes, it has a microSD slot and yes, I'm running MS Office 365 on it! It's a fine and inexpensive Chromebook

Of course you can use Office 365 on a chromebook, you're logging in via the internet - both web based. 
You can use a chromebook offline with certain Google Apps activated also -
