Depends on what you're asking. If you mean 3D animation streaming from an online video source then it will be okay. If you're talking about running a program that renders 3D animations then you certainly don't want a chromebook. Keep in mind that the screen resolution for this laptop is very low due to the small screen size and because of it being designed for web browsing and typing documents. Watching videos online works okay, but it's not ideal due to the screen resolution.
