• No it does not. If you want a backlit keyboard on a Chromebook around this price, look into the Asus C302CA. For the price, I would say Newegg or B&H Photo is best bet sicne for $499 they offer the Intel Core m3 6Y30 processor which is quite a bit faster than the included ARM processor on this Samsung Chromebook Plus, and even the Asus C302CA for $499 listed here at Best Buy with the Pentium chip.

• No, this one does not. They are making a Pro model, I believe, that will be coming out soon. That one is supposed to have upgrades such as a back-lit keyboard, or so I understand.
