• Not really. The case protects the phone from drops.

• It doesn't have a screen protector so you may choose to get one but it has a slight lip around the edges so you can lay it face down without worry. Just don't lay it down on gravel.

• I opted not to have one, however for complete protection from scratches it is best to get one.
