• Probably a deal of the day! These are always popping up on the daily deals. 6.99$ is the lowest I seen for them, so I got me some.

• It is impossible to answer this question exactly. It may be that memory chip prices have risen in the last week or maybe there is a shortage of this particular size of memory. This is more of an economics question than a technical one. Supply and Demand. Sorry.

• When digital CF/SD cards first came out, almost 15 years ago, a 1 GB Card was 500.00. I suggest you not worry about a couple of dollars and be thankful they are so cheep now.
