QuestionDoes the built-in software get updated?

- Answer For a while, yes. However, I would request a guarantee for updates for the life of the product. I paid big bucks for top of the line, latest tech on my Samsung fridge. Wifi, apps, touchscreen. The fridge works fine but the apps no longer work. Contacted weatherbug, google, news, they all said the same thing, that it is the responsibility of the appliance maker to keep the software current. Samsung stopped updating the software and none of those apps work anymore.

- Answer No... it does not have quick access door. However, it has cameras inside, which you can see the fridge contents on the family hub screen (on right door of the fridge) or in the mobile app.

- Answer No, it is small and doesn't refill itself very quickly. That is the difficulty in having an ice maker in the fridge instead of the freezer section. Buy extra bags of ice and keep them the freezer to supplement in hot weather.
