QuestionDo these doors swing out wider than the stated total width of the unit or when open at 90 degrees are these flush with the width of the unit? Several different models in store all did something different. We only have 2" to spare in the available space.

- Answer there is a switch on the inside top of the door with the screen. Try flipping the switch, that's supposed to be the reset for the family hub

QuestionIs anyone having issues with the ice maker? I have heard many people do with their Samsung refrigerators--not specifically this one. But I wanted to hear from current owners.

- Answer The ice in the icemaker often gets clogged/jammed and that prevents the ice dispensing mechanism from stop working. The trouble shooting method described in the user manual (RF265B) is to "gently lift up the ice bucket and pull out and empty the bucket and insert it back". However, it is very difficult to pullout the ice bucket. If you use excessive force, this may break. Otherwise, the fridge needs to shutoff and let it defrost to make the ice dispensing mechanism operational. I would say it is very bad design.

QuestionI have seen the nightmare about the ice maker and the class action suit. Has the ice maker issue been resolved?

- Answer We have this fridge and are thinking of buying another one and giving this one to our son. The ice maker froze up. Since it was still under warranty, they replaced it and also caulked the cracks where the warmer air from the fridge entered the icemaker and caused condensation, which would freeze into ice dams. Otherwise, I love the fridge and would like another one just like it. I was hoping that this problem would have been fixed on any newer ones. We bought the fridge with dual ice makers, so that was nice since it took a few weeks to get someone here then to get the parts in.

QuestionHow long will Samsung support the screen with updates etc? I do not want to get stuck with a refrigerator with a screen not working 10 years from now because it can no longer be updated.
