The ice in the icemaker often gets clogged/jammed and that prevents the ice dispensing mechanism from stop working. The trouble shooting method described in the user manual (RF265B) is to "gently lift up the ice bucket and pull out and empty the bucket and insert it back". However, it is very difficult to pullout the ice bucket. If you use excessive force, this may break. Otherwise, the fridge needs to shutoff and let it defrost to make the ice dispensing mechanism operational. I would say it is very bad design.
