Will it charge the Samsung Galaxy S8+? null

Yes, this device will fast charge the S8+.

We have the S8+ and it does charge them when it works. We constantly have to take the phone off because it's blinking and readjust. Sometimes we give up and just plug it up the old way and others it works great. We were told it was our case but we have even tried it with no case and still the same. It is much faster than plugging it up with a cord, just a pain to get it to work but maybe you will have better luck.
