Yes. Mine Is in a Slim otter box case and it works. I have a samsung Galaxy note 8. No mine don’t get hot at all. It’s a fan on the charger too
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine charges with an Otterbox Defender case on. The charging time reduced with the phone horizontal versus vertical on the charger. I have the standing wireless charger. I thought it took over 4 hours to charge at about 27%..It was very long. So I started using at night, I can not tell you the time to charge the last two times. I did not notice any heat when charging.
