• I guess 32GB is fine, I bought this Samsung USB drive because I travel a lot for work, and I store vital documents for these trips and files that I need for my work, but I was told by computer technicians that if I want to create a recovery drive in win 10 I will need a USB drive that’s at least 16 gigabytes, but remember to use an empty USB drive because this process will erase any data that's already stored on the drive.

• I guess that I it will be Windows recovery drive - it should work without problems. I have used it to install Windows and run portable Linux and it works perfectly fine every time.

• If you meant for windows recovery, yes it can ..and when windows recovered it was very quick for me
