“I have always been able the sync music from my windows media player to any flash drive but this flash drive will not work the car radio and chrome book computer can not read data drive is formatted to FAT32. can anyone help”

It seem that lots of people is confused with a thumb drive that is higher than 32gb. The 32gb and under is formatted to fat32 and is compatible with lot of thing including car stereo. The 32gb works fine in my 2021 nissan but anything higher than 32gb will not. Because it is formatted in exfat. Most car manufacturers still prefer to use the fat32 format since it is old and thus its widely used.

Please try again later.I would recommend you format this a exFAT as its is compatible with Mac/ PC and many other devices, Chromebook should be able to read FAT 16 /32/ exFAT - NTFS and HFS+ / UDF (Read Only) - If the Chromebook won't read it the re-format it and try again!
