“Are the BTUs the same with propane as with gas or do they lessen with propane? I currently have a GE that states a 17,000 BTU burner on gas, 11,000 BTU on propane.”

Hi NrsJan, They are not the same, BTU's will decrease if converted to propane. Please check the chart on page 12 in the installation manual. Manual: https://bit.ly/2IZHRgc ^Joan
