A:AnswerIt depends on your previous phone and its ability to transfer data. Not so much on the carrier. It helps if you have a Google account with your old phone or if you can connect phone to phone. Even so there is often a couple bits of info not transferred, I generally hold on to my old phone to double check before getting rid of it.
