Will this cell phone work with tracfone null

I am a tracfone customer and bought this phone in May. I cannot get calls to some other cell phones to connect. It either continues to ring or disconnect when they answer. I’ve been on the phone with tracfone and Samsung for hours and no one has been able to help. I question whether this phone has VoLTE on it since I can’t find it any where in any of the settings. Then I wonder if I change providers if it will work because of that. Other than that, I love this phone. Still researching who I will change to.

This phone is GSM network. Tracfone is CDMA network.

If this happened only with calling iPhone users, which was probably the case, the security update that Samsung came out with on 9/21/23, dated 9/1/23, fixed this problem of theirs.

In the capatability section of this phone on bestbuy.com it states the phone will work on Verizon, and since they own Tracfone it should work since it is an unlocked phone

I am no longer with Tracfone after nearly 20yrs, for this very reason. After Verison took them over, no one, can get anything activated. Try Boost Mobile. It works great !

We were a customer of tracfone for at least 20 years, As soon as Verizon took them over, They played games with our service. Just didn't work one day? We changed phones, because it was incompatible with Verizon. Worked good for a few months, Then no voice mail access? After countless calls to fix the problem to some foreign land only produced no service! Never, ever will I, or anyone I know use tracfone again! Or looks like Verizon for that matter?
So the phone I'm sure is not the problem if you are on tracfone. Best you go to Patriot mobile, then buy this kinda phone, unlocked. IMHO
They can use any of the big boys service that works best in your area.
