I have a Dell laptop, and they only work well when I'm sitting right in front of the PC. If I walk around the room, the sound keeps cutting out of one ear or the other. It's very distracting. They work fine if I connect to my phone and set it beside the laptop. I don't know why they would work like this, but it's the way it is.

One note: the HP Laptop, to my surprise, did not come with Bluetooth. If that's your situation, you may need to do a little work. I had to purchase a Bluetooth dongle (from Amazon, available for as little as $10), install it per the directions. I had to Google how to install the dongle, and there are lots of videos (YouTube) and various articles that are helpful. Once the dongle was installed and the laptop now had the Bluetooth capability, it was simple to pair my earbuds with the laptop. HINT: make sure your cell phone or other device the buds may already be paired to is not nearby, or better yet, is turned off to make finding and pairing with the right device (your new earbuds) easier. Hope this is helpful.
