“My daughters are competitive swimmers. Can these earbuds be used safely (for my daughters and for the earbud working life) during swimming? If so, what depth are they water resistant to?”

I have two answers from Best Buy representatives........"Yes" and "No"......completely unhelpful to know if these earbuds can be used while swimming in the water, which was my original question. Can a representative from the Brand/Company manufacturing these answer my question?
