• I don't use the features on the buds themselves. The Manual says they are supposed to turn off with 2 taps. I just take them out and put them in the charging cradle and they shut off automatically.

• I only tap once and it works though it does take a second to actually stop

• I'm not sure if what you mean by turn off but if you mean stop music or end call, go to wearable Samsung app on your phone for the earbuds and make sure that feature is enabled.
