This phone is SM-J106M (verify this). Many of the sites selling used phones - mix up the models.
the 2017 version is faster and supports 4G. I can not comment on the overall speed compared to more expensive phones.
Searching web, reading news sites, chatting on Duo works fine. (screen is small but it fits comfortably in pocket)
