• A:Answer Yes. My wife and I have had tracfones for four or five years and are pleased with them. I suggest you go to tracfone.com and always use this to add minutes and other things. We set up an account with a user name and password and we always use this site, not our phones to buy minutes, etc. Check the section "Buy Air Time" and you will see a number of different options for minutes. Scroll down and you will see "Add Ons." You will then see " data " as one of them. It is usually a $ 5 or $ 10 purchase. We have done this several times for my wife. Once you are familiar with the site it is easy to do. Best wishes.
