If you mean, talking in order to "type" text instead of keying it with fingers or thumbs, yes , I use it all the time. I am a very very new smartphone user and adverse to small key typing. The talk function does require punctuation and will self correct things you may not want to "correct' results can be very weird but for the most part it works well. With my limited ability and frankly patience to get in and key with fingers the editing of dictated text doesn't seem very easy and thus, recipients need to know I will just let it go with weird errors etc. As a disclaimer , I write/talk large amounts and thus much more information to edit. Remember, you can talk very slow and deliberately and results will look "normal". I like the phone and basically the size is in between too big and too small. I got a speck rubberized cover and it is easy to handle. hope this answers your question.
