• Yes, it is usable in the world as the name goes - unlocked. I sent it to my friend in London and he's enjoying the phone. He said it works perfectly.

• I have 1 SIM card for my Canadian carrier and 1 SIM for my US prepaid carrier. When making a call, sending text etc. it asks me which SIM I want to use.

• First you can ask your line carrier, tmobile simple mobile ,etc if you can use the phone out of usa, because some of them work as local (in Mexico, Canada or Puerto Rico), other then that I don't know.
