Why won't this phone work on Verizon ? null

The phone does not work with Verizon because its a CDMA network and the phone only supports GSM network.

It should work with Verizon. Since its unlocked, you need to purchase a sim card kit. The kit comes with three different carriers to use, Verizon being one. You put the chip in your phone & connect with your carrier. You will probably have to contact your carrier so they can enter your new Sim number. That's what I did & my phones work (I have 3). I hope this helps.
