“can i take my "get one" from the buy one get one and leave it in the box until I need it? Like 99% of people , everyone in my fam already has a line. So requiring an additional line pretty much render's the bogo deal useless.”

I'm pretty sure they require 2 line activations. Check the fine print for your carrier and be flowery.
