There is instructions how to do it when you click on learn more. From what I understand once you get the phone you need to download an app and activate the device before a certain date and you get to choose your free gift.

Please try again later.@tom0196, the "contacts" permission is requested, because on modern versions of Android, that's how an app uses stored Account credentials (in this case, your Samsung account -- go to Settings>Accounts, and you'll see it listed there). The one potential show stopper for me is I have to share my contact lists with them in order to proceed. In my view, this is deceitful advertising and has me quite upset. It is not free with purchase, it is free if you provide your entire contact list (personal and professional).
