Samsung told me on 1/22/19 that the Best Buy Model: SM-N960UZBFXAA (SKU: 6278214) is a SINGLE SIM MODEL, and in order to get a model with DUAL SIM SUPPORT you would need to get a model with CODE SM-N960F/DS. This is considered a "global" or "international" model phone. It can use EITHER a single SIM, or a single SIM with an SD card, or TWO SIMs at the same time, automatically receiving signals from BOTH SIMs simultaneously. For example, one SIM might be for the CDMA network that Verizon (and it's associated operators) uses and the other could be a GSM SIM that AT&T networks use. This, then, provides you greater coverage as the phone "travels" around the country/world. There are trade offs. The SECOND SIM actually physically must be installed into the SD card slot location, meaning you cannot use an SD card at the same time that you use the dual SIM functionality. The SD card/SIM slot is referred to as "Hybrid". Hybrid is only available on the ~F/DS coded models. Therefore, this is a reason why people buy phones with more INTERNAL storage (512GB instead of 128GB). There are other trade offs as well. Certain other carrier features like WiFi calling, visual voice mail may not work in an international model.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
