“Can the contract be forward starting I want to buy the phone for a dollar but i want to give it to a family member for Christmas. So i wouldn't turn the phone on until Christmas Day? can that be done? If i want one for each of my daughters that can't be done, only one phone per customer??”

No. I purchased mine at a Best Buy Black Friday sale for $1 and wanted to buy one for my son, and they wouldn't let me take it out of the store without activation. I went ahead and activated the phone & gave it to my son right away, so he could make decisions on the 2 week option to return it, or buy a protection plan for it. He is absolutely thrilled with the phone and I highly recommend it.

Please try again later.future dated activations are difficult since they have so many restrictions the only way I can think of is as long as they all have 4g LTE devices right now then the new phone uses the same sim card. so when they upgrade your phones tell them to select keep current sim card option which will keep their old phones activated until you put there old sims in these new ones on Christmas morning. all you would need to do is take the little orange cards out of their old phones and place them in the new phones near the battery on Christmas morning and they will automatically activate once you do this. however if they don't use the same sim type you wont be able to do this so bring your phones into your local best buy and ask them about this
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe you can go to your ATT acct online and turn the phones off manually. Then when you are ready to reactivate then just signed into your ATT acct and turn them back on. You can also control the amount of data they use this way.
